What is it about smokers that so many of them feel justified heaving their cigarette butts out of the car window? Only rarely do I see someone chuck anything else out the car window. But hardly a day goes by when I don't see someone toss a butt into the street.

I'm not an American Indian. Rather my blogger name is intended to harken back to those ubiquitous public service announcements from the 1970's with the Native American weeping at all the pollution. As the PSAs said, "People Start Pollution. People can stop it."

It's happening here too. It's happening all over the United States. Clearly the land of the free and the brave is also home to the thoughtless and the weak willed.
